About the event
Ethics of Influence: Communicating Impact through Trusted Voices
As brands strive to communicate their purpose and social impact, they turn to voices of influence - from journalists and content creators to community advocates - to lend credibility and depth to their message. Yet, as partnerships expand across these diverse channels, the line between advocacy and promotion can blur.
This panel discussion explores how organisations can work with key opinion leaders ethically and in a transparent manner, as well as how media and creators, in turn, can navigate partnerships with brands while preserving authenticity and integrity.
Areas to be explored:
Transparency and disclosure: What does responsible partnership look like from both perspectives - from the brand and from the view of content creators?
Authentic alignment: How can brands choose collaborators whose values genuinely align with the brand’s purpose?
Defining impact: How to move beyond impressions and engagement to understand influence that drives positive change?
We are excited to bring together a panel with B Corp speakers and sustainability influencers, expertly moderated by Vero.
